MATTY BOURIS — SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA
Most fashion brands fail not because of bad design, but because of bad production systems. After 20 years inside the machine — from Mitchell & Ness to McLaren F1 to Coca-Cola — we build the infrastructure that turns creative founders into profitable businesses.
WHAT WE BUILD
Piecemeal design leads to piecemeal sales. We develop 10 to 15 cohesive styles per drop, complete with full CADs, spec sheets, and factory-ready documentation. The result is a marketing campaign, not just a product catalog.
Most sample errors are not factory problems. They are documentation problems. We build technical specification packages so precise that factories have no room for interpretation, ensuring your bulk production matches your vision every single time.
The "local versus offshore" debate is missing the point. We architect hybrid supply chains — utilising Australian partners for quick-turn basics and offshore networks for complex, scalable runs. The right tool for the right job.
Flying blind on your margins is the fastest way to bleed money. We build rigorous costing structures before a single style goes into development. If the margin does not work on paper, it does not go into production.
Brand identity, creative direction, and design strategy for emerging and established labels. From concept to market — with 20 years of commercial experience behind every decision.
Premium Australian and offshore blank program. High-quality base garments built for brands who want a faster path to production without compromising on quality or fit.

ABOUT
After two decades designing and directing production for some of the most recognised brands in global fashion — Mitchell & Ness, the NBA, McLaren Formula 1, Coca-Cola — I kept seeing the same problem break emerging brands.
The design was good. The vision was there. But the production systems were not. Founders were drowning in factory miscommunications, inconsistent samples, and margins they could not explain. They were spending 80% of their time managing operational chaos instead of building the brand they started.
I built PRO DEPT Studio because I understood that great design cannot survive bad production. The brands that scale are not the ones with the best ideas. They are the ones with the best systems.
My role is to bridge the gap between your creative vision and the reality of the factory floor. I bring 20 years of global supply chain experience — from licensing to DTC, from Australian manufacturing to offshore production networks — to independent brands who are ready to build something that lasts.
